Our North Texas roofing company is proud to be a CertainTeed Shingle qualified because it allows us to provide our clients with the highest quality roofing materials. In order to become a CertainTeed Shingle Master, a roofing contractor must meet certain requirements, which include:
- Being properly licensed to perform roofing work in their area.
- Demonstrating a track record of high-quality installations of CertainTeed Landmark roofing shingles.
- Completing CertainTeed's educational program on installation techniques, product knowledge, and business practices.
- Maintaining a satisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Once a contractor becomes a CertainTeed Landmark Shingle Master, they are authorized to offer CertainTeed’s highest level of warranty protection, which can provide homeowners with peace of mind knowing their roof is protected against defects and other issues.

CertainTeed offers a range of warranties for their roofing shingles, depending on the specific product and the level of warranty protection desired. Some of the warranty highlights for CertainTeed shingles include:
- Limited Warranty: CertainTeed's Limited Warranty covers the shingles against manufacturing defects and provides a certain level of protection against weather-related damage. The length of the warranty varies depending on the specific product, but typically ranges from 10 to 50 years.
- SureStart Warranty: CertainTeed's SureStart Warranty offers additional protection against manufacturing defects, and also covers the cost of labor and materials for repair or replacement of defective shingles for the first few years after installation.
- SureStart Plus Warranty: CertainTeed's SureStart Plus Warranty is a more comprehensive warranty that offers even greater protection against manufacturing defects and weather-related damage.
